Project Overview
Our community is growing, and our current masjid space is no longer sufficient to meet the needs of worshippers.
Through this expansion project, we aim to renovate and transform a second building into a larger masjid that will provide a comfortable and welcoming space for prayer, education, and community activities.
The current building will then be dedicated as a school for children to learn the Qur’an and for those pursuing ḥifẓ, helping to nurture future generations, in shā’ Allāh.
This project will support both present and future generations by strengthening our community and creating a place where faith, learning, and unity can thrive.
What We’re Building
The Burmese Muslim Association of Utica is working to renovate and improve our masjid to better serve our growing community.
New Prayer Hall
Creating a larger and more comfortable space for worship.
Women’s Prayer Area
A dedicated and welcoming space for sisters.
Qur’an & Ḥifẓ Classes
Supporting Islamic education for children and future generations.
Wudu Areas
Proper ablution facilities for ease and cleanliness.
Heating & Cooling
Full HVAC system for comfort throughout the year.
Restrooms
Clean and improved restroom facilities.
